1. Install the stainless steel rods between two main carbon fiber plates
2. Loosen the assembled stand and slide the carbon fiber spacer into its’ cutout
3. Tighten screws, apply bumpons on the bottom of the stand, and install rubber guards on th e edge before use.

Yes, to protect your keyboard from any potential damage when displaying. The rubber guard is made out of silicon hence it is safe from plasticizer.
